About Grooveit: Revolutionizing Golf Club Cleaning

The Trajectory from High-Flying Concept to Physical Product
Grooveit was born not on the course, but during a pause from the sky. When elite medical helicopter pilot Clint Sanderson faced a year-long recovery from double knee surgery, he swapped adrenaline-fueled missions for tackling a long-standing frustration—inefficient golf club cleaners. A lifelong golfer, Clint knew clean grooves meant better performance, but the tools available were clunky, messy, and outdated.

Determined to build something better, he sketched out a new concept: a leak-proof, refillable, magnetically-attached golf brush that actually worked. Early prototypes were cobbled together from household items, but Clint’s vision grew. With the help of ProImage 3D, he developed multiple iterations, each one sharper, sleeker, and more intuitive. After earning 2nd place at the PGA Merchandise Show and perfecting the design, Clint made the ultimate sacrifice to fund production—selling his plane and turning his hangar into a warehouse.

From that risk came reward: The Grooveit “Wet Club Scrub”—a patented, pro-grade club cleaner that’s changed how golfers maintain their game. And it didn’t stop there. Grooveit has since expanded into new designs like the miniG Dry Scrubber, NCAA-licensed gear, and fully customizable brushes for tournaments, teams, and brands.

What started as downtime became a startup. And what began as a side project is now the go-to club cleaning solution trusted by pros, veterans, and weekend warriors alike. Grooveit is proudly veteran-owned and engineered to help you clean your clubs—and your game—with purpose.
